The types of work involved for these constantly evolving telecommunication applications include such systems as telephones, fiber optic networks, data networks, fire alarms, nurse calls, CCTV, systems security and more.

3-year Systematic Program of Learning: Apprentices obtain all essential knowledge and skills necessary to become a Telecommunications Installer/Technician. 4800 Hours of On-the-Job Training: Apprentices train to proficiency on the skills required to install, maintain and troubleshoot various telecommunication systems. 480 Hours of Related Study (minimum): Apprentices study essential telecommunication theories in the classroom in combination with on-the-job training.
