The Electrical Training Institute believes in the power of partnership. Over the years, we have forged strong relationships with a number of important local, regional and national organizations. Through our association with these entities, we are able to bring a higher level of understanding, greater cooperation and more expertise to our training curriculum.   • Indianapolis Electrical Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee (IEJATC)
    • Partnership between IBEW and NECA supporting central Indiana's Electrical Training Institute in educating and training qualified workers for the electrical construction industry.
  • International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW) Local 481
    • Local chapter of an international organization representing approximately 750,000 members working in a variety of fields such as utilities, construction, telecommunications, broadcasting, manufacturing, railroads and government.
  • National Electrical Contractors Association (NECA)
    • Dedicated to enhancing the electrical construction industry through continuing education, labor relations, promotional activities and information on current trends.
  • The Quality Connection
    • Labor/management partnership between IBEW Local 481 and the Central Indiana chapter of NECA dedicated to quality electrical construction, workforce training, job safety and progressive labor relations.
  • Top Notch
    • Non-profit association working to foster a positive exchange between central Indiana union tradesmen and their contractors to create work that sets the standard for quality and integrity in the construction industry.
  • Indianapolis Downtown, Inc. (IDI)
    • Action-oriented not-for-profit organization formed to develop, manage and market Downtown Indianapolis by addressing critical issues that affect the downtown's growth and well-being.
  • Indiana Construction Association (ICA)
    • Local chapter of the premier construction industry association in the nation representing elite contractors, construction managers, specialty contractors, suppliers and service providers in Indiana's construction industry.
  • Electric League of Indiana (ELI)
    • Statewide umbrella organization providing the electrical industry with educational programs, networking opportunities and a forum for members in the areas of application, safety, improvement and conservation.
  • Society for Marketing Professional Services (SMPS)
    • Networking association providing members with national conferences and workshops, awards programs, publications and educational resources to highlight trends and best practices in the design and construction industries.
  • Indiana Union Construction Industry (IUCI)
    • Statewide alliance of labor unions and contracting companies representing 17 different construction trades focused on promoting a positive image and growing the industry as a whole.
  • International Union of Operating Engineers (IUOE)
    • Diversified trade union representing operating engineers who work as heavy equipment operators, mechanics, and surveyors in the construction industry, and stationary engineers who work in operations and maintenance in building and industrial complexes.
  • Plumbers & Steamfitters Local 440 (United Association)
    • Local organization of plumbers, pipefitters, welders and air conditioning workers offering training, employment, membership benefits, news and education in an effort to promote good labor relations and provide a highly skilled workforce to the industry.
  • Design Build Institute of America (DBIA)
    • Membership organization made up of practitioners from all project phases focused on advocating and advancing single source project delivery within the design and construction community.
  • Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI)
    • Professional association supporting the information transport systems (ITS) industry with information, education and knowledge assessment for individuals and companies supporting telecommunications, audio/video, life safety and automation systems.
  • Ivy Tech Community College
    • Nation's largest state-wide community college with single accreditation offered through 23 campuses. Accelerated Certified Training (ACT) is delivered by Ivy Tech's Department of Workforce and Economic Development.
  • National Joint Apprenticeship Training Committee
    • National organization overseeing the development and standardization of training programs that educate members of IBEW and NECA and provide the electrical construction industry with the most highly skilled workforce possible.
